Over the past season, we have found ourselves returning to the beginning of Breathe Pray Worship — reflecting on the experiences, relationships, and longings that first shaped this work.
Through reflection, prayer, meditation, and honest discernment, three core convictions continued to rise to the surface:
The word soul comes from the Greek psyche—the breath of life—embracing mind, body, and spirit. That’s the heart of our approach: holistic care for the whole person.
We walk alongside those who give of themselves daily—outreach workers, case managers, caregivers, clergy, educators, first responders, and nonprofit leaders. While our focus is supporting helping professionals, spiritual direction is open to anyone seeking deeper connection - with themselves or the Divine.
Each 1-on-1 session offers space to slow down and breathe: grounding practices, reflection, discernment tools, attentive listening, and gentle guidance. Whether you’re navigating transition, recovering from burnout, or longing for renewal, Soul Care creates room for you to simply be.

Spiritual Direction is a sacred journey of a profound encounter between the directee and the Divine, facilitated by the holy presence of both the director and the directee. Within this sacred space, hearts are opened, wounds are healed, and souls are nourished. Recognizing the profound impact of trauma, especially religious trauma, I approach spiritual direction through a trauma-informed lens by prioritizing safety, empowerment, and collaboration in the healing journey. Every session invites individuals to explore their spiritual paths with gentleness, compassion, and respect, fostering an environment of trust and authenticity.
